2010-12-28 Roof, Door, Heat

On this special day, Mom, Dad, and I paid a visit to my future home.  We found that roof has been substantially covered while some roofers were still working at the roof on the 2nd floor:

Exterior doors were installed at the garage and front entrance.  A key is now required before checking up on the house:

The heat piping has been installed and here is a shot below the bonus room:

2010-12-22 Basement

2010-12-22 Windows

Windows were installed in mid-December 2010.  Here is a look from the huge windows in the great room to the rear field.

The rough-in for the washrooms fans has been installed:

2010-12-12 Plumbing

Here are some photos taken in early December 2010 after framing and plumbing rough-in were done.  The great room has an open to below concept with four huge windows to be installed soon:

My beloved washer and dryer will be located in the mud room and here is their rough-in plumbing:

The common area has a big Kitchen Island and it will be on top of these plumbing rough-in:

The full bath on the main floor will be pretty roomy with a full size shower:

2010-12-11 Framing 2nd floor

Dad and I paid a visit to the construction site.  The house is growing well.  The 2nd floor framing is completed.  The roof has been installed too...   When we were there, the Star Plumbing company was working inside the house.   How exciting!

2010-12-05 Framing 1st Floor

Just prior to coffee with Marion and Jade today, I paid a visit to my house.  Surely, it is growing!  The framing for the main floor is completed.

The front stair case has been installed.  This is great making my visit much easier.

The interior stair case has also been installed.  

I love the open to below concept with huge windows.
