2011-03-13 LadyBug

The weather is the best today.  We were up to 5 degrees and sunny!  So, Denise, Marion and I went for afternoon tea at Lady Bug Cafe.  The special tea tastes great.

The desert is yummy too!

2011-03-06 Lottery

On this sunny day, Emily and I visited the Foothill Lottery Show Home.

The lobby area has a huge mirror reflecting the beautiful door:

I love the kitchen with massive shiny tiles and industrial like stove:

Can you see the granites, sink, fan, and refrigerator?  They are all complementary to one another!

The pendent lights are gorgeous with a stylish ceiling and curved windows:

The fireplace is modeled with stones and contemporary touch:

The master ensuite has a pair of double-squared sinks:

The stair has an oval shape throughout the 3 floors:

The house has an interior water fall from the 2nd floor going down to the main floor and then landing at the basement:

The wine cellar is located in the basement:

The patio has decorative stones and lights backing to a realm of natural trees:

Our show home tour was nicely finished with a delicious dinner at a nearby Irish Pub.  We had Apple BBQ ribs:

In addition, we had steak, chicken and sausage - yummy, yummy:

2011-03-05 Cabinet

The inspection was done briefly today because the house was going through painting stage, e.g., wall, door, and closet.  Wow, the chemical smell was very strong.  The cabinets and other wood work were nicely installed...

The closet doors were painted and stood right in the dinning area for natural drying:

Kitchen cabinets above the stove were installed all the way up to the ceiling:

Kitchen cabinets for microwave were also installed all the way up to the ceiling:

Medicine cabinets were also installed on main floor, second floor and master ensuite:

Bathroom cabinets were ready for the sink and granites:

The fireplace mantel was installed:

The wall was going through another round of painting and sanding:

The exterior window wells were installed:

2011-03-04 King Crab

We had a real treat tonight with a huge king crab for dinner!  T&T had a special on king crab at $13.99 per lb.

Here's a look of the king crab just prior to becoming our dinner:

Hey, the king crab's ready after pan fried:

We also had steamed chicken (yummy):

Another way to prepare king crab was to cook the crab legs on rice:

We also had king crab congee the next morning:

They say the white ingredient was king crab 'jello':
